Hudoud Alteqnia participated as a Gold Sponsor in the 5th Annual Kingdom E-Government Summit 2014 that was held in Riyadh on the 18-19 May 2014. The summit aimed at building awareness and accelerating the integration of e-Government in the day-to-day activities of the public sector and the services it offers to businesses and citizens. The summit hosted over 120 influential officials representing key Saudi Arabian governmental bodies across a variety of industries.
Eng. Moufid Charafeddine, CEO of Hudoud AlTeqnia, moderated two interactive panel discussions on “Developing Smart and Citizen Centric Government” and “Modernizing Governments through enterprise Techniques, Big Data and Cloud Computing”.
With its participation, Hudoud Alteqnia met government agencies, vendors and stakeholders and supported the Kingdom’s aim in accelerating the integration of e-government. Saudi Arabia expects to spend US$ 12.4 billion on information technology and improving e-government services.
