Hudoud Alteqnia participated as a Platinum Sponsor in “The 10th National GIS Symposium 2015” that was held in Dammam on 11-14 May 2015.
The GIS Symposium is an annual event that brings together academics, researchers, students, and specialists to one platform to showcase the latest technological developments and scientific applications in geographic information systems (GIS).
“The Road for Building Saudi GIS” was the event’s theme and its objectives were to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experiences in Geospatial Sciences in order to improve the provided services for Saudi nationals and residents through using such systems.
Hudoud’s partner Geodan joined the event and was represented by Prof. Henk Scholten and Arjen Koekoek. Prof. Henk Scholten, founder and CEO of Geodan, delivered a keynote speech on “Geodesign by Integrating Design and Geospatial Sciences”. Senior Consultant, Arjen Koekoek, conducted a workshop on “Phoenix Touch Table GIS: New Opportunities for Geo-Collaboration”.
With its participation, Hudoud welcomed government agencies, vendors, stakeholders, academics, students, and specialists in the geospatial domain. It was a great opportunity for growing Hudoud Alteqnia’s network and highlighting its products and services.
